Report : Charity Sale on 11/12

From our previous fund-raising activity, we have successfully donated 100,000JPY to JOICFP Yesterday.

Here are details:

Total Sales from Yard Sale and Bake Sale was $1093.71
Used books sale at Bookoff was $68.40
Other donated fund $71.25

Total $1233.36= 95000JPY

(US$1=77JPY)


Our leader for 11/12 event, CF kindly donated 5000JPY to match 100,000JPY.

皆様、

メッセージを頂きまして、ありがとうございました！
お手伝い頂いた皆様にも、当日お楽しみ頂けたようで、私もとても嬉しいです。
ようやく落ち着いて当日を振り返ることができるようになり、リーダーとして様々な反省点が浮かんできてしまうのですが、至らない点が多々ありましたこと、この場をお借りしましてお詫び申し上げます。
皆様がカバーしてくださったお陰で、当日は無事成功に終えることが出来ました。
初めてのガレージセールで、このような大役を務めさせて頂き、心から感謝しております。

お1人の産婦さんに5万円義援金（ケショ）が支給されますので、今回はお2人の産婦さんを救うことができます。
素晴らしい結果に感激しております！

震災の翌日に渡米以来、アメリカにいても日本のためにできることがあるのではないかとずっと思って来たのですが、今回このような形でその思いを形にできたこと、大変嬉しく感じております。
全て、皆様のお陰です。
この度は、ご協力くださいまして、本当にありがとうございました！！！

Report from 11-12 Sale

Thank you all for such a great support for our fund raising on  Saturday 11/12/2011!

 

We were lucky enough not to get actual rain! It was chill, but many many people came to support and purchase at our event.

The total sales was $1093.71

Also other donated funds and used book sales at Bookoff were about $50.

So most likely we raised more than $1200 through out this event.

We will inform you with final number shortly.

This will be used as "KESHO", which is JOICFP’s relief donation program to assist expectant mothers affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake.

We have received 3 photo books and a couple issues of local news paper from Sendai Miyagi. They will be available to view at Bake + Yard Sale on this coming Saturday.
